Xiaomi has launched its Pad 7 in India, a tablet equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and up to 12GB of RAM. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, and includes features like AI Writing, AI Live Subtitles, and Xiaomi Creation tools.

The device features an 11.2-inch 3.2K CrystalRes display with a peak brightness of 800 nits, Dolby Vision support, and a 3:2 aspect ratio. Enhanced by Original Colour Pro and AI HDR, it showcases a palette of over 68.7 billion colours, as per Xiaomi.

A standout feature is the Nano Texture coating on the top-tier variant. Having seen it firsthand, it does an excellent job reducing glare and reflection without sacrificing the display's vibrancy or brightness. The coating also adds a paper-like texture that feels as good as it sounds. Coupled with the quad-speaker system, backed by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, the Pad 7 sure looks a notch above the ordinary.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front sensor—adequate for everyday snaps and video calls. Under the hood, it packs an 8,850mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 pairs with the Focus Pen and Focus Keyboard for enhanced productivity. The Focus Pen, priced at ₹5,999, features 8,132 levels of pressure sensitivity and ultra-low latency, making it good for detailed sketches and lifelike artwork. Meanwhile, the Focus Keyboard, priced at ₹4,999, features a gesture-enabled touchpad, backlit keys, and adjustable angles for maximum comfort.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 starts at ₹27,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, ₹30,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, and ₹32,999 for the top-tier Nano Texture Display Edition with the 12GB + 256GB configuration.
