From motorcycles to pianos, Yamaha has conquered every sector it steps into. Now it has decided to take on the TWS earbud arena. Its new TW-E3B and TW-E5B TWS earbuds have been designed keeping the ‘True Sound’ philosophy in mind.
In terms of the design, Yahama has opted for a no stem look. Although the buds come without ANC, they do come with features like aptX Adaptive compatibility that can auto-correct sound balance based on volume to prevent ear fatigue and listening optimisation.
The Yamaha TW-E5B (₹14,200) is available in black, blue, brown, and grey colours. Equipped with a 7mm driver, these buds come with IPX5 rating and access to Siri and the Google Assistant. They also have a battery life of 8.5 hours per charge, and 30 hours with the charging case. The company claims an hour of battery life on a quick 10-minute charge.
The Yamaha TW-E3B (₹8,490), on the other hand, has cut back on driver size at 6mm and battery life with six hours per charge and 24 hours with the case. They come with various ear tips, based on your preference and comfort and have used non-slip material for a sturdier feel. These buds are available in black and pink.
Both buds feature touch controls which can play, pause, skip, and alter the volume. You can use Yamaha’s Headphones Controller app to further manage the controls.
