If you want to go fast, really fast, ridiculously fast, then there’s a new set of wheels to help you achieve that. The all-new BMW M4 Competition drives into our shores, with prices starting from ₹1.44 core (ex-showroom).
Helping you get from point A to B at Fast and the Furious-like speeds is a 3.0L twin-turbocharged straight-six petrol engine mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. It produces 510hp, 650Nm of peak torque, which gets you to 100kph from standstill in just 3.5 seconds. The top-speed is limited to 250kph.
It doesn’t just go fast, but even looks fast when standing still, especially from the front. The face is dominated by a huge vertical grille with double-horizontal louvres, complimented by an aggressively styled front bumper sporting sharp creases, and air intakes.
On the inside, the overall look stays similar to the regular BMW 4 series – albeit with a few M touches. Take for instance the 12.3in digital instrument screen and the 10.25in infotainment system, which come with M-series-specific graphics.
The feature list also includes a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, ambient lighting, head-up display, powered front seats with memory function and lumbar support, wireless charging, phone integration and more.
