Apple iPad Pro with M2 chip could be launching this year

Power overload

We just finished reviewing the new Apple iPad Air (2022), and if there’s one thing that isn’t missing on the tab, it is power. Courtesy of the M1 chip, there’s more raw power to tap into than many of us would know what to do with. But it seems like that isn’t enough for Apple.
According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is said to be planning on launching the next-gen iPad Pro later this year, and it will be powered by an M2 chip. While details are scarce, it is safe to say that this upcoming chip will be much more powerful than the blazing fast M1.
The report additionally says that the iPad Pro will also feature MagSafe charging tech. The magnetic attachment tech that started out with Apple’s MacBooks is now used as a way of attaching accessories to Apple’s iPhones. It will be interesting to see how this tech is implemented on the iPad.
The report concludes by saying that the next-gen iPad Pro will be launched sometime between September and November, which is in line with Apple’s launch timeframes.
