Marking a full transition to their own silicon from Intel, Apple revealed not one but two Pro SoCs, the M1 Pro and the M1 Max which will be available on the all-new MacBook Pro. Available in two sizes, 16in and 14in, the blazing performance is attributed to a 10-core CPU and a 16-core GPU on the M1 Pro while the M1 Max takes it to OMG-levels with a 32-core GPU and 64GB of unified memory! However, Apple hasn't been only polishing the internals. There's a paradigm shift in the entire design language of the Pro series line-up. Firstly, there's a notch on the Liquid Retina XDR display. The kind of display you see on Apple’s dedicated Pro display and iPad Pro models. It’s also packing a ProMotion tech (Apple’s 120Hz refresh rate). The notch gets an updated 1080p camera with a larger camera sensor but it’s not FaceID. Previous MacBook Pro owners will be happy to know that the MagSafe 3 charging port is back, so the other three Thunderbolt 4 ports can be used for your Pro work. There’s also an HDMI port, a high impedance headphone jack and a card reader. If all this wasn’t enough to steal your heart and wallet, the laptop charges up to 50% in just 30mins. Dropping at a cool starting price of ₹1,75,410 for the 14-inch MacBook Pro model and from ₹2,39,900 for the 16-inch MacBook Pro. It’ll be available starting 26th October.
