Apple might launch new MacBook Pros, a Mac mini, iMac, and iPad mini in early November

Macs on the horizon!

After the iPhone 16 series and Apple Watch Series 10 launch last month, Apple has another big event lined up for 2024, and all eyes are on what the Cuprtino tech giant will reveal. Reports suggest that we can expect new MacBook Pros, a Mac mini, and an iPad Pro—all powered by the next-gen M4 chip. While Apple hasn’t officially confirmed the event date or spilled any details just yet, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman shared in his Power On newsletter that the company is gearing up to introduce M4-powered MacBook Pros, a Mac mini, iMac, and iPad mini, likely in early November.

The upcoming M4-powered Macs could feature a refreshed M4 Mac mini and possibly a new 24-inch iMac. Alongside the Mac updates, Apple might also turn its attention to the iPad lineup. While the iPad Pro saw a refresh earlier this year, the focus this time could shift to the more budget-friendly models, like the 11th-generation iPad and the 7th-generation iPad Mini. Reports suggest Apple is looking to cut production costs on these lower-end iPads, so we probably won’t see any major design overhauls—but a price hike for the 11th-gen iPad could be in the cards.

The 11th-generation iPad is rumoured to pack either an A16 or A18 chip, potentially putting it on par with Apple’s latest iPhones. On top of that, it’s likely to come with a much-anticipated upgrade—128GB of base storage. As for the iPad Mini, which hasn't been updated since 2021, it could also get a performance boost with the A18 chip and might feature Apple’s Intelligence tools like Siri, Genmoji, and Image Playground. Despite these upgrades, the iPad Mini is expected to keep its $499 price tag, making it an even more appealing choice. In India, the price is expected to stay around ₹45,900.
