Assasin’s Creed kicks off 15th anniversary celebrations

It all starts with the Assassin’s Creed Origins Free Weekend

Assasin’s Creed turns 15, and Ubisoft is all geared up to kick off the 15th-anniversary celebrations. This time, it’s all about the fan and Ubisoft is celebrating by giving back to their loyal fans through new surprises, collaborations, rewards and community activities for players to discover. Starting today an Assassin’s Creed game will be featured every week and will have new content, rewards and interactive experiences for the players.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will support 60FPS on the Xbox Series X|S and the PlayStation 5. You can now rediscover ancient Egypt under the reign of Cleopatra in smooth frame rates. To make the most of this upgrade, Ubisoft has decided to host a free weekend for Assassin's Creed Origins from June 16 through June 20. Oh and there’s a new Assassin’s Creed game coming in September.
They are also bringing new free content in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. We’ll see the return of festivals, the Mastery Challenge Pack 2 and a new Armory feature. There will also be new caves to explore in your campaign to solve the mystery of the Tombs of the Fallen.
Players will also be able to take part in Odin’s new journey to the region of Niflheim through a new game mode. It’s called the Forgotten Saga and it’s a rogue-like take on gameplay that’s free to all Assassin's Creed Valhalla players. Lastly, a special surprise is believed to await fans at the end of the year with the reveal of the last episode of the story of Eivor with a free chapter.
You can follow along with the celebrations on the official website, Youtube and Twitch for live streams.
