Fun Fact: 25 years ago, the MIR space station became the first continuously inhabited long-term research station in space. Onboard this station, the Asus P6300 laptop spent 600 days in orbit. Asus says the laptop lasted the entire mission without defect, despite power outages and fires. And that makes the P6300 laptop gold standard for every product designed and developed by ASUS.
In celebration of this historical event for the Taiwanese tech giants, Asus has announced the launch of their Zenbook 14X OLED Space edition. A laptop which pays tribute to its predecessor and embodies the spirit of space in every aspect with stunning space-themed graphics on the lid and keyboard.
To keep up with the requirements of young professionals, tech-savvy folks, trendsetters, gamers, space (ya, it says that in the press release), and science enthusiasts, this special edition design features a futuristic 3.5 OLED with ZenVision display on the lid that shows personalized notifications, animations or text. It also has a crispy 2.8K OLED NanoEdge 14in display (a mouthful). Obviously, with Pantone calibration too and an impressive 92% screen-to-body ratio. Good for watching the upcoming Buzz lightyear movie? Maybe.
Keeping in line with the space theme, the laptop will be available in the colour ‘Zero G titanium’. The device runs on Windows 11 and has Dolby Atmos, for a better listening experience. It’s also equipped with an Intel 12th Gen processor, DDR5 RAM and Intel Iris graphics. The ZenBook 14X OLED Space edition starts from ₹1,14,990. You can cram in more RAM and processing grunt for more cash as well. It’s available in most online and offline stores starting today.
