When it comes to Asus ROG, the Duo 16 isn't alone. The gaming focussed brand has designed a new product in its lineup– The Flow X16– which is as versatile as those W, A, S, D keys you bash away at relentlessly. The versatile convertible laptop comes feature-packed with a lot to offer.
The model is a 16in ultra slim convertible device with XG Mobile compatibility. This laptop too is equipped with the Nebula HDR touchscreen Display powered by AmLED technology, using AUO and ROG’s own in-house backlight algorithm. This technology utilizes image processing in addition to dynamic dimming and boosting, to create more accurate local dimming with 512 local dimming zones. This means you will experience less blooming effect, that’s often observed on HDR panels. While the increased density of Mini LED keeps your content looking fresher than ever.
The slim, compact chassis manages to pack in the latest processors, with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070Ti Laptop GPU. Built on Nvidia’s Ampere architecture, the latest GPU options combine new streaming multiprocessors with enhanced RT and Tensor cores to provide realism with Ray-Traced graphics. To achieve adequate cooling in this thin frame, the company has packed in a new tri-fan setup called the Frost Force cooling system. In combination with the Pulsar Heatsink, the airflow is redirected more efficiently to the GPU.
All this alongside the 32GB RAM and 1TB storage, operation on Windows 11 makes this versatile laptop a beast in every way. The ROG Flow X16 will be priced starting at ₹171,990. Well, if you want to know if it's worth your coin, stay tuned for our hands-on review.
