Beats Pill (2024) is out and about!

The musical multivitamin

Back in 2012, the original Beats Pill hit the scene and became a hit as a portable Bluetooth speaker. Then came the Pill+ in 2015, which kept the party going until it was phased out in 2022. Now, we've got the new Beats Pill (2024) making its debut—time for the next beat to drop!

Offered in three hues—Champagne Gold, Matte Black, and Statement Red—this edition features a complete redesign and engineering overhaul. It features proprietary tech that elevates functionality, extends playtime, and delivers superior sound quality.

It's equipped with IP67 water and dust resistance, and compatibility with Apple FindMy and Google Find My Device. Fast pairing is supported on both iOS and Android platforms. With a battery life of approximately 24 hours, it's quite impressive. A quick 10-minute charge will give you about two hours of playback. Beats has also managed to trim about 10% off the weight compared to the Pill+.

Beats has completely re-engineered the sound system too, featuring a 'racetrack' style woofer and enhanced neodymium magnets that displace 90% more air volume, delivering a larger sound. A redesigned structure minimises vibrations in the low end. Notably, the speaker includes a 20-degree upward tilt for improved sound projection. The Beats Pill is priced at $150 (approximately ₹12,500).
