Beats has launched the PowerBeats Pro 2 in India. It is designed with fitness buffs in mind and has a heart rate sensor that keeps track of your pulse while you’re smashing the reps or pounding the pavement. Using LED optical sensors nestled in each bud, the Pro 2 monitors blood flow by pulsing over 100 times per second, turning that data into heartbeats and syncing it with a compatible app.
The real showstopper is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) paired with Transparency mode, letting you switch from total immersion to situational awareness with ease. With a redesigned acoustic architecture and Personalised Spatial Audio featuring dynamic head tracking, Beats says the soundscape is richer and more immersive than ever. Plus, Adaptive EQ tunes the audio in real-time to match the shape of your ear.
The Pro 2 buds also come with a redesigned ear hook and significant upgrades to sound and call performance. Another noteworthy improvement is Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), complete with the Transparency mode. The PowerBeats Pro 2 is compatible with both Apple and Android, but it’s built to shine in the Apple ecosystem. Expect one-touch pairing, automatic device switching, Audio Sharing, hands-free Siri, and Find My compatibility. Android users can use the app to access one-touch pairing, heart rate monitoring controls, customisable settings, battery status widgets, Locate My Beats, and over-the-air updates.

Under the hood, the Pro 2 is powered by Apple’s H2 chip, delivering up to 45 hours of battery life with the charging case. Speaking of which, the case itself has had a glow-up—it’s 33% smaller, supports wireless charging (a first for Beats), and juices up the buds faster than ever. Just 5 minutes in this case gets you around 90 minutes of playback, as per beats.
With on-ear buttons and hands-free Siri, controlling your music is easy too. Each earbud also features a tactile volume rocker, along with a voice accelerometer and three advanced microphones.
The Beats PowerBeats Pro 2 comes in four shades—Jet Black, Quick Sand, Hyper Purple, and Electric Orange, priced at ₹29,900.
