BMW has made some big announcements all around today. In addition to the BMW XM model launched globally, BMW has also officially launched the facelifted M340i xDrive, exclusively in India at a price tag of ₹69.20 lakh (ex-showroom), with deliveries set to commence in January 2023.
When it comes to performance, this popular sporty sedan is equipped with a 3.0-litre inline-six engine capable of producing 382bhp and 500Nm of torque. This engine is also mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The power produced is distributed to all the wheels via BMW’s xDrive technology. The car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 4.4 seconds, making it the quickest BMW to be produced inside the country.
This updated version of the M340i features the latest kidney grille, a redesigned front bumper, a new set of alloys, as well as LED DRLs. But what is definitely drawing attention here is the single-piece curved dashboard display with a fully digital cluster on the right with a 14.9in touchscreen display for the infotainment screen.
Much like the XM, this model brings aboard BMW ConnectedDrive technology with features like Digital Key Plus, Emergency Call, Real-time Traffic Information and Remote Services through the MyBMW app. It is also equipped with the Operating System 8 and the Intelligent Personal Assistant as well as several safety features and sensors to keep you smooth-sailing.
