Bowers & Wilkins PX7 S2 are making a new and improved comeback

Double down on the wallet to ease up on the ears.

While we all await the release of the flagship PX8, Bowers & Wilkins has reworked their existing PX7 headphones into the new PX7 S2 model. Re-engineered in numerous ways, the new model boasts a new design with 40mm driver units with full ANC.

The PX7 S2 is arguably much better looking than its predecessor, now available in grey, black and a very attractive blue. Powered by Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive, the headset gives you up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, with a 15-minute quick charge that can give you seven hours of use. For connectivity, they have gone down the usual path of USB-C for charging and a 3.5mm jack if you want to go traditional and wired.

Each driver has been angled within the earcup to allow for a consistent distance between the ear and the entire surface of the driver. The Bowers & Wilkins Music app lets you adjust EQ or toggle noise cancellation/transparency and even monitor battery levels.

You can still adjust most controls on the earcup of the headphones themselves. They also have a feature to allow you to access your phone’s voice assistant through the headset. They will be available for £379 (₹36,200 approx.), with its successor the PX8 to enter at a wallet-shattering ₹45,000 (approximate).
