Bulgari collaborates with Ducati to release its sportiest watch yet

Italy’s finest

The iconic Italian brands known for their flair and innovation, Bulgari and Ducati have collaborated to capture the Italian essence through their,  Bulgari Aluminium Chronograph Ducati Special Edition Watch. Created to look just as good when you’re gripping the handlebars of a Superleggera or a demitasse of espresso after dinner, the watch uses aluminium, titanium and rubber, materials that are a nod to the materials used in the creation of high-performance motorbikes

The watch is the perfect blend of features from both the premium motorbike brand and the prestigious watch maker’s design elements. In keeping with Ducati’s classic colour scheme, the grey panda dial of the standard Aluminium Chronograph is replaced by a bold red dial with sporty black notes.

This watch also features an elegant nod to Ducati motorbike dashboards, with the font used for the numerals at 10, 11 and 12. This creates an immediately recognisable and eye-catching design highlighting the design codes of the Bulgari Aluminum intact.

Keeping high performance at the forefront, the Bulgari Aluminium Chronograph Ducati Special Edition’s in-house BVL 130 movement boasts tenth-of-a-second accuracy, 100m of water resistance and a 42-hour power reserve. Additionally the watch’s DLC-coated titanium caseback displays Ducati’s logo as well as its limited edition number, like plaques that adorn high-end bike or cars

The two brands have successfully collaborated to create a watch series limited to 1,000 pieces retailing at AU $7,350 (approx ₹4 lakh).
