CES 2022: Samsung Freestyle is a 3-in-1 portable projector

Portable projectors aren’t anything new but the Samsung Freestyle knows it’s late to the party and hence, brings a bag of tricks with it. Firstly, it weighs almost as much as a bag of chips (OK, maybe a big one) but more importantly, it combines a portable projector with a BT speaker and an ambient light, all in one chassis.

Featuring auto keystone and levelling, its unique hinge allows it to be swiveled around 180 degrees so you can project directly in front of a wall or even on a ceiling by simply rotating it. The 100in image is combined with an omnidirectional speaker system for better coverage across the room and when it’s time to surprise, it can even be plugged into an Edison style bulb socket for ambient lighting. Smarts come in the way of far-field voice control and support for voice assistants as well as casting from Android and iOS devices.
