CES 2023: Dell’s latest UltraSharp monitor has, behold, ‘6K resolution’

Time to move on already!

Gone are the days for 4K. The world is heading towards 6K resolution now and guess who’s leading: Dell of course with their latest and world’s first UltraSharp 32 6K monitor with IPS Black panel technology that, as per the brand, provides higher contrast and deeper blacks.

With 6K resolution, there will be 150% more pixels in comparison to our (now old) 4K, that means extra details, sharpness and enhanced colour accuracy. This monitor is also laced with VESA DisplayHDR 60 so if you like to count pixels just like calories you may as well be done with what you are using now.

Totally compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems, the UltraSharp 32 6K Monitor can also enhance the video conferencing experience especially under low light conditions courtesy of the built-in dual gain HDR 4K webcam. The cam will not just show your face but will also take care of auto framing and light adjustments. There are two 14W speakers as well. For easy transmission without compression there is DisplayPort 2.1 and for connectivity there is Thunderbolt 4.

That’s not it, Dell has also launched a range of smart peripherals. First one is also the world’s first Zoom-certified collaboration keyboard- KB900. So if you live your life on Zoom this one is aimed at you because the keyboard has dedicated touch controls to manage Zoom calls easily. It lets you mute and unmute the microphone, toggle between video on and off, share screen and open the chat panel with your keyboard. Plus, it also has smart backlighting with hand-proximity detection and 15 programmable keys.

To go along with the keyboard, Dell has the new Premier Rechargeable Mouse- MS900. It features a track-on-glass sensor that allows you to work on any surface and smooth gliding advanced four-way scrolling for a more intuitive navigating experience. You can also fine tune speed, tracking (with up to 8K dpi) and precision with the brand’s Peripheral Manager.

All these devices are expected to hit the shelves soon. Stay tuned to know exactly when.
