CES 2023: LG’s latest line-up of soundbars want to improve surround sound

Barring the tinny TV speakers!

If there’s one way you can ruin your content viewing experience, it is with disappointing audio. Even then not a lot of us fancy filling our living or drawing space with bulky speakers or surround sound devices so what’s the solution, you ask? A slick soundbar, of course! And LG’s latest line-up of soundbar - SC9 and SE6 models, can enhance the beauty of your den as well as intensify all viewing sessions.

Both the soundbars feature Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for better sound quality. The brand says the new devices will have Wow Orchestra, a tool that utilizes all the audio channels to create an expanded soundstage with improved height, depth and power. The feature is expected to arrive via software update.

The SC9 and SE6 can also connect to LG TVs wirelessly over wifi with the use of Wowcast. A Triple Sound Optimizer feature to enhance the performance of the soundbars and a Smart Up-mixer will turn stereo audio into multi-channel surround sound.

The latest line-up also has an AI Sound Pro feature that helps in analyzing the type of content like movies, games or music and change to optimum settings automatically. The brand, as of now, did not shed light on major differences between the two devices except that the SE6 is good for smaller spaces due to its compact stature and it is equipped with four passive radiators for powerful bass.

As of price, we don’t have much information yet but stay tuned for detailed info after its official launch at CES 2023.
