CES 2023: Lenovo Yoga Book 9i has two full-sized screens

Double the fun, double the hassle?

Come CES and tech brands open their treasure troves to draw the masterpiece that possesses the potential to garner our attention. Lenovo’s masterpiece for 2023: The Yoga Book 9i, a full-sized OLED dual screen laptop with not one but two 13.3in displays.

Don’t think they jettisoned the keyboard because much to our surprise there is one, a Bluetooth keyboard that magnetically secures its position on the lower portion of the lower screen. So, it basically looks like a traditional laptop, just imagine the laptop with a screen on top of its screen. This may read funny but it actually also means multi-mode functionality and dual-screen tasking for enhanced efficiency.

You can surf the web and view the image across two full screens and function with an easy 5-finger motion. Or, you can also work on two separate files one on each screen, or even better you can watch a video on one screen and work on the other. Along with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard, the device comes with a folio stand and a Lenovo-designed Smart Pen stylus.

The Yoga Book 9i runs on a 13th-gen Intel Core i7-U15 CPU, paired with 16GB of RAM and either 512GB or 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. And, there are three USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports, along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity.

As for the hardware, Both the OLED screens come with a 2.8k resolution and 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage along with Dolby Vision HDR support. Furthermore, there is a 360-degree rotating sound bar inside the hinge by Bowers & Wilkins that is also compatible with Dolby Atmos.

The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is expected to be priced around $2100 (₹1,73,786).
