DJI has just released their latest flagship drone, the Mavic 3 Pro, which has an impressive triple camera system. That's right, three cameras! The drone features a triple camera array with a 24mm Hasselblad micro four-thirds camera, a mid-telephoto camera with a 70mm focal length, and an enhanced telephoto camera with a 166mm focal length. Pretty neat, eh!
The main camera on the Mavic 3 Pro has a main 20MP CMOS sensor and a 24mm equivalent lens with an aperture range of f/2.8-11. What does all that jargon mean? Well, it means the camera takes pretty snaps, and you can adjust the aperture to let in more or less light. Plus, the camera's dynamic range is 12.8 stops. The drone has some neat tricks up its sleeve with the ability to shoot ProRes video up to 5.1K and 12-bit RAW images and record DCI 4K and 4K video at up to 60 fps and 120 fps.
The Mavic 3 Pro also has a new mid-telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and an enhanced telephoto camera with a faster f/3.4 aperture which uses a Type 1 (1/1.3-inch) CMOS image sensor and can capture 4K video at up to 60 fps and images from 12 to 48MP. If you're worried about running out of storage, don't be! The Mavic 3 Pro comes with 1TB of built-in storage, which is enough space to store all of your pictures of cats.
But it's not just about the cameras. The Mavic 3 Pro also has a long battery life, with up to 43 minutes of flight endurance. That's longer than most TV shows. With its obstacle detection and Advanced Pilot Assistance System, you can rest easy knowing that your drone won't crash into anything (unless you fly it into a tree on purpose, which is always a possibility). When it comes to editing, the device conveniently supports Wi-Fi 6 to send video and image files up to 80MB per second to connected smartphones and has an AI-powered One-Tap Edit mode in the LightCut app for editing videos
Priced starting at $2,199 (₹1.8lahks approx.), who knows, with three cameras, maybe you'll become the next Ansel Adams (or at least the next Instagram influencer).
