DJI Mini 3 Pro likely to come with better cam and obstacle avoidance sensors

Bigger battery in smaller form factor

DJI looks to be gearing up to launch its next-gen mini-drone if a new leak is to be believed. The upcoming DJI Mini 3 Pro will continue to have a compact form factor, but will go big on features.
The leak comes courtesy of a leakster online who has posted photos and a video of the supposed DJI Mini 3 Pro on Twitter. One of the big upgrades is on the camera front, and the drone is likely to come with a bigger lens with f/1.7 aperture. In theory, this means better and brighter photos and improved low-light performance.
The cam also seems to be mounted on a redesigned three-axis gimbal, which will potentially allow users to shoot vertical videos, best suited for Instagram Stories. Also seen are two large sensors on the front, which should help in avoiding obstacles. There are also a couple facing downwards to avoid ground collisions.
The drone is expected to keep its sub-250 grams weight, but will come with a bigger 2,453mAh battery, which should result in a longer flight time. It’s too early to say when DJI plans to launch its next-gen drone, and what would be the pricing.
