According to Dyson, the Airstrait straightener stands out from conventional models because it simultaneously dries and straightens hair using high-pressure airflow, rather than hot plates. To safeguard hair from heat damage and ensure impeccable styling, the Airstrait employs intelligent heat control. Glass bead thermistors monitor airflow temperature up to 30 times per second, regulating the heating element based on real-time data. This approach preserves natural hair shine and minimises heat exposure, reducing the risk of damage and maintaining hair strength and health.
Airstrait straightener offers multiple styling modes and temperature controls tailored for various hair types and styling preferences. It features Wet and Dry Modes for styling directly from wet hair, while the Cool Mode helps set hairstyles post-drying and straightening. You can also adjust between two airflow speed settings, and additional options like a cold shot and root drying mode allow for further customisation.
After launching its Airstrait straightener in the US last year and gradually introducing it to other countries, Dyson is now bringing it to India. The price details have been kept confidential by Dyson, for reference the hairstyling tool was launched in the US at $799 (approx ₹66,000).
