You now can breathe a sigh of relief, the wait is over! Playground Games has officially launched Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels. Bringing together two of the greatest joys of our childhoods, Hot Wheels and videogames, it is everything you could ask for. This first big expansion for Forza Horizon 5 will feature some of the fastest, most extreme, gravity-defying tracks with loads of new cars and biomes to explore.
The Hot Wheels Park will feature diverse biomes – from the Giant’s Canyon to the frozen Tundra dripping into the molten lava in the Ice Cauldron, and everything in between. They will all be brought together under the exhilarating Horizon Nexus, right near the Horizon Festival, suspended among these interconnected Hot Wheels tracks. It has also introduced new track types with 212km (131 miles) of Hot Wheels track to help live out your dreams.
It doesn't stop there. You can become a Hot Wheels ‘Legend’ by mastering the extreme speed of the Park, and moving on to faster cars. The progression system is divided into five tiers with rewards, missions and events for each. The story itself comes with five chapters you can unlock as you make your way through the ranks. The story will provide you with a comprehensive history of Hot Wheels as you perform your stunts and challenges.
This franchise-first now allows you to join friends and play the entire expansion from the very beginning in co-op, including the introductory Hot Wheels Expedition and join in on the fun. You can even custom create the track with Hot Wheels Creation Kit which helps you snap together pieces just like real hot wheels tracks.
A new UI reticle called G-Forza will also make an appearance alongside a roll indicator that dynamically changes based on the car’s rotation while driving on Hot Wheels tracks. You can even enjoy new camera FOV options, including Chase Cam FOV and Far Chase Cam FOV. Lastly you can look forward to driving 10 brand new cars in Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels.
The Hot Wheels expansion is included with the Forza Horizon 5 premium add-ons bundle, premium edition, and expansions bundle so you may already be set for your journey. If you don’t happen to have any of those bundles, you can always purchase the standalone Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels expansion directly for ₹1,299.
