Fossil’s latest addition to the iconic Gen 6 Smartwatch is the new Venture edition. Adding to its collection of features, this watch also sports interchangeable woven straps made entirely with recyclable materials like recycled plastic and eco-leather.
Sporting a 1.28in colour AMOLED display, the dial comes wrapped in a 44mm stainless steel case. The dial features two additional push buttons and a rotating home button. Running Google’s WearOS, the watch is compatible with Android and iOS’s smartphones. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+, the wearable comes with 1GB RAM, alongside 8GB of storage.
The Gen 6 Venture now sports a brighter more vivid Always-on Display and comes with an array of watch faces to personalise your look. It also comes with tons of apps to track your activities. When it comes to tracking the watch can automatically monitor activity goals, steps, sleep, heart rate, cardio level, and oxygen levels, as you’d expect from a smartwatch. It also comes with GPS tracking and 3ATM water resistance.
Not only does the watch have touchscreen input, you can also use the Alexa voice assistant to bark orders at it. Using Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, the in-built microphone and loudspeaker you can even receive calls, notifications and texts directly from your watch. Fossil claims it takes approximately half an hour to reach 80% and has several battery modes. The watch is now available in India for ₹23,995.
