Galaxy Unpacked 2024: Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is built for extreme adventures

From deep seas to high summits

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra promises the ultimate wearable experience with the power of Wear OS 5 and advanced health monitoring. The watch is crafted to be a reliable aid to those pursuing extreme activities. A Titanium Grade 4 frame protects the sophistication inside from impact, while the IP68 weather-resistant design allows it to dive to depths sustaining up to 10ATM pressure. If mountains are your sanctuaries, the device can survive at heights up to 9000 metres, all the while, monitoring your vital stats.

The watch offers new workout metrics to keep track of your fitness parameters. A new Multi-sports tile helps track multi-course workouts for triathlon, while a new Functional Threshold Power (FTP) tab for cycling measures the maximum cycling power in just 4 minutes using AI-based indicators. An advanced Personalised HR Zone helps you workout at optimal intensity levels based on your physical parameters.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra adds a quick button to initiate and control workouts and map other functions. You can also activate an emergency siren with this button. The watch has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits which ensures readability even in bright sunlight. With a new 590mAh battery, Samsung claims up to 100 hours of battery life in Power Saving and 48 hours in Exercise Power Saving mode.

The Watch Ultra will be available in 47mm size in Titanium Gray, Titanium White and Titanium Silver finishes from July 24 at ₹59,999.
