Samsung has finally unveiled the much-awaited smart ring, and the new Galaxy Ring expands the scope of the exosystem in combination with the Galaxy Watch series. The new devices for part of the brand’s vision to make Galaxy AI play a larger role in delivering personalised insights and comprehensive experiences.

Available in nine sizes, the Galaxy Ring weighs from 2.3 to 3 grams and sports a concave design. With Titanium Grade 5 finish and IP 68 rating, the ring can withstand up to 10ATM of water pressure. The ring is designed for round-the-clock health monitoring with up to seven days of battery life. The specially designed charging case offers LED lighting to indicate charging status. The ring is available in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold colours and comes with a sizing kit that helps you find the right fit.

Data and insights from the ring are integrated into Samsung Health and the advanced AI algorithms analyse your sleep patterns. The ring includes new sleep metrics such as movement during sleep, sleep latency, and heart and respiratory rate for a detailed analysis. It also incorporates Cycle Tracking to better track your menstrual cycle through overnight skin temperature monitoring. It also features automatic walking and running tracking via Auto Workout Detection.

As an integral part of Samsung’s connected ecosystem, the Galaxy Ring lets you easily take photos or dismiss your alarm on Galaxy smartphones with a double pinch via gestures. You can receive a more accurate health analysis from a wider range of data by wearing Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring together. Pairing with Galaxy Watch, further extends the battery life up to 30 percent.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring will be available from July 24.
