When it comes to long-distance running, we know you can keep going, but can your watch keep up with you? If this is something you have struggled with in the past, you should take a look at the Garmin Enduro 2. Worth more than just a few pennies – $1,099 (₹87,400 approx), this watch packs in advanced training tools, multi-sport GPS, and over 150 hours of battery life.
The rugged smartwatch, built for extreme endurance sports, is extremely light and brings a 40% increase in battery life in the GPS mode as compared to its predecessor. Garmin claims it now gives you up to 46 days worth of battery life. This watch also brings back the built-in LED flashlight previously seen in the Fenix 7 series, only this time it is twice as bright. You can use the red safety light mode or switch on the strobe mode to match your cadence, keeping you safe on those pre-sunrise / post-sunset kind of runs.
When it comes to the features packed on, the watch has a bunch of built-in health and fitness to monitor your heart rate, SpO2, respiration, stress, and sleep. It also supports Garmin Pay, incident detection, and music storage. The body itself has a lightweight titanium bezel and rear case, a 1.4in Power Sapphire lens, and a nylon band with a touchscreen that operates alongside the button controls. Best of all, the wrist piece can even track activities like mountain biking, swimming, hiking, running, golf, yoga, and surfing out of the box.
Other capabilities of the watch include a visual race predictor, a grade-adjusted pace feature to help athletes adapt to varying terrains, and an automatic rest timer. With the improved GPS accuracy and mapping, in addition to the TopoActive maps, NextFork technology and multi-band GNSS for better positioning accuracy, don’t expect to get lost any time soon.
