Pleasant update for gamers: There is a new gaming device for you to try your hands on. Gigabyte just launched their latest Intel 12th Gen laptop — the Gigabyte G5 and the device sure has the potential to take your ace game a notch higher.
The new range features Nvidia RTX 30 series GPUs and is powered by the 12th Gen Intel i5-12500H CPUs with 12 cores, 16 threads, and a maximum clock rate of 4.5GHz. It has 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz memory and the brand has also introduced MUX switch technology for the G5 KE laptop, the novel feature will allow users to bypass the integrated graphics and directly connect the display to the discrete GPU in just one click.
The G5 laptops will come in three models: the G5 KE with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, the G5 ME with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, and the G5 GE with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050.
The series also has Gigabyte’s Windforce cooling technology that helps with performance during high-load gaming sessions or multimedia processing. It has highly efficient 59-blade dual fans, 5 heat pipes, and 4 exhaust vents so the laptops can dissipate the heat generated in a stable manner.
All G5 laptops weigh under 1.9 kg and are quite portable for on-the-go usage. The Thunderbolt 4 ports provide a high transmission speed to the USB C at up to 40Gbps. The laptops have a 15.6in FHD 1920x1080 IPS-level anti-glare LCD display and a 144Hz refresh rate, offering a super immersive gaming experience.
