Google Pixel Buds Pro reportedly set to launch in India on July 28

Breaking (language) barriers…

Google’s I/O 2022 brought an array of new products from phones to watches. This included the Google Pixel Buds Pro, which has created a buzz ever since. Well, the wait for an India launch may just be coming to an end. Announced via its Instagram account, Google is set to launch the Buds on July 28.

In case you missed them, let's catch up on the features. Like most TWS buds these days, the Pixel Buds Pro offers ANC and an immersive audio experience, to drown out the world. On the inside, the buds feature a six-core audio custom-built chip that runs Google-developed algorithms, tuned by Google’s in-house audio engineering team. The Buds Pro also sports a Silent Seal to help adapt to the user’s ear maximizing the amount of noise that’s cancelled. With built-in sensors to measure the ear canal’s pressure, the buds ensure the most comfortable fit possible.

When it comes to battery life, the Buds can last up to seven hours with ANC and 11 hours without (31 hours with the case). As one would expect, Google’s buds come with the built-in Google Assistant. The real cherry on the cake is the real-time translation in 40 languages, which helps you eavesdrop in languages you don’t even understand (because the combination of curiosity and suspense is agonizing). The buds additionally come equipped with transparency mode, wireless charging, mics, multipoint connectivity, volume EQ, and touch control.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro are likely to be available in four colours – black, grey, hot pink and pastel green. It remains to be seen how close the Indian pricing will be to the US prices ($199 - approx ₹15,500).
