Google just dropped an official teaser for its first-ever smart timepiece — the Pixel watch and oh boy! We are smitten by its looks. Minimal and uber chic, the watch sports a circular dial with a display that seamlessly curves around the edges (hope they don’t put thick bezels on it.) The silicon straps are quite standard but definitely complementing the dial.
The teaser shared on the ‘Made By Google’ official YouTube channel showcases a circular crown-like button placed on the right side of the dial. Its functionality could be similar to that of Apple's digital crown. Another video titled ‘The design of Google Pixel Watch’ shows the unique twist-lock strap mechanism for strap attachment.
There is, however, not much information about the specifications yet. The teaser doesn’t even show the back of the dial so it’s hard to guess the sensors. Rumour mill suggests the Google Pixel Watch can come in two variants — Wifi and Cellular, and can have features like Google Wallet, Google Maps and Google Assistant. Cost-wise, the watch will reportedly fall between ₹28,000 - ₹31,900.
