Havells' Meditate air purifiers are designed to tackle nasty indoor pollutants

And, keep your air squeaky clean!

Havells Studio has launched its Meditate AP400 and AP250 air purifiers, claiming their tech is “inspired by systems used on the International Space Station.” According to the brand, these purifiers tackle air at a molecular level with photo-catalytic oxidation, pushing air through channels coated with titanium dioxide, hitting it with UV-AC and UV-A light to zap away microscopic nasties like dust, bacteria, and fungal spores. Sounds impressive, but it's worth reviewing if this “space tech” really lives up to the hype in your everyday living room.

The Havells Studio Meditate AP400 and AP250 air purifiers come with a suite of smart features. They have air quality indicators (AQI) that adjust the fan speed depending on the air quality, plus IoT connectivity and even wireless charging. The AP400 features a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 400m²/h, while the AP250 offers 250m²/h.

Other highlights include Predictive Analytics, which tracks your usage and pollutant levels to automatically adjust the fan speed for the best air quality. They also feature automated on/off functionality and Filter Life Indication to let you know when it's time to swap out the filter. The AP400 is priced at ₹41,999, and the AP250 goes for ₹21,999.
