Havells Meditate is the newest air purifier on the block

Modern problems call for modern solutions

While the world is on the brink of political stability there is one thing for certain, there is one battle we seem to be losing (no, we don’t mean Super Bros. against your siblings). The environmental battle treads on and the air quality keeps getting worse, courtesy of us, humans. Havells Studio has decided to make its debut in the Air Purifier segment with the Meditate and it has a lot to offer.

While it may not be cheap, priced at ₹64,900, it sure beats having to travel to the mountains for a breath of fresh air. The air purifier has been put to the test and verified by Equinox labs for efficacy against the removal of hazardous gaseous pollutants as well as micro-organisms like bacteria, viruses and fungal strains. So you can rest assured it will keep you safe, as long as you stay indoors that is!

This purifier has incorporated a 6-layer filtration system with Havells’ SpaceTech technology which works to void the air you breathe, of impurities.  The filtration system uses a pre-filtration mesh to reduce visible impurities in the air, followed by a HEPA filter and granular activated carbon filter to remove finer, particulate matter and clean the air from those noxious and harmful gases (sometimes produced by your loved ones).

The second stage of filtration uses photo-catalytic oxidation, to degenerate the viruses, bacteria and hazardous gases by exposing the air to specific wavelengths of light. The Meditate comes with a portable AQI monitor, with touch buttons for power, modes, and a toggle. The display shows parameters like air quality, battery life and fan speed and is removable. So it can double up as a remote for real-time air quality monitoring and control.

For connectivity, it’s pretty much got it all, with support for wireless charging, IoT, and Alexa and Google Home. The air purifier works in collaboration with the Havells Studio app for predictive analysis of air quality, filter life indicators, and notifications. Best of all it allows for remote scheduling, so you don’t need to remember to switch it on and off.
