Style, speed, and smarts!

Honda has launched the CB650R and CBR650R middleweight motorcycles in India, with prices set at ₹9.20 lakh for the neo-retro CB650R and ₹9.99 lakh for the supersport-inspired CBR650R (ex-showroom). Deliveries for both models are scheduled to commence in February 2025.

Powering both bikes is a 649cc in-line four-cylinder engine, delivering 93hp at 12,000rpm and 63Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch.

The CB650R embraces a minimalist neo-retro design, showcasing a round all-LED headlamp, a sculpted fuel tank, and an exposed frame. The bike is equipped with 41mm inverted Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) forks at the front and a rear mono-shock with adjustable preload. Braking is handled by dual 310mm radial-mounted floating discs at the front and a 240mm single disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS.

On the technology front, the CB650R features a 5.0-inch TFT full-colour display that offers information at a glance. Connectivity is seamless with Honda’s RoadSync app, letting you pair your smartphones via Bluetooth for hands-free access to calls and navigation. The bike comes in two colour options—Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.

The CBR650R, on the other hand, stands out with its aggressive and aerodynamic design, characterised by sharp lines and a forward-leaning stance. The full-LED lighting system features dual-eye headlights. Performance-focused components include 41mm inverted Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) front forks, a rear mono-shock for balanced handling, and dual radial-mounted 310mm front disc brakes. The addition of Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) enhances traction, offering riders greater confidence on challenging roads.

The CBR650R is equipped with a 5.0-inch TFT full-colour display, delivering essential ride information. Connectivity is streamlined through the Honda RoadSync app, allowing Bluetooth integration for features like calls and navigation. It comes in two colour options—Grand Prix Red and Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic.
