2022 has only just begun and brands are already pushing the boundaries with their flagship smartphones. At the ongoing MWC 2022, Honor has taken the wraps off the Magic 4 Pro, which boasts of some witchcraft-like specs.
The highlight is the 100W wired AND wireless charging support. Using Honor’s own SuperCharge adapters, one can juice up the Magic 4 Pro’s 4,600mAh battery in 30 minutes (wired), and up to 50% in just 15 minutes (wirelessly).
Needless to say, the rest of the spec sheet too is brimming with top-level features. There’s a quad-curved 6.81in LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,000 nits brightness, and a 1920Hz PWM dimming feature. There’s a dual cutout at the top-left corner that houses a 12MP sensor and a secondary 3D depth sensor.
Under the hood is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip along with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and GPU Turbo X graphics acceleration.
There’s a rather large circular camera module at the back, which houses a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 64MP periscope lens with 3.5x optical and 100x digital zoom. There are two other sensors onboard – ToF and flicker.
The IP68-certified smartphone runs Android 12-based Magic UI 6.0. The Honor Magic 4 Pro will be available later this year at prices starting from €1,099 (approx ₹92,800).
