HP’s new 11in tablet comes with a rotating camera

Flippin’ awesome

HP’s new tablet best describes the world we live in currently. It is portable enough to be used anywhere, and the highlight is the flipping webcam for your video meeting needs. The 11in tab, which was announced back in September last year, has now gone on sale.
The tab’s highlight is that 13MP rear-facing camera sitting on the short edge of the display. It can flip 180-degrees to face the front, and become one of the highest resolution front-facing cameras on a tablet. It all works very similar to the Asus’ Zenfone Flip smartphones.

As for specs, the tab sports an 11in IPS LCD touch panel with 2160x1440 pixels resolution, and is powered by an Intel Pentium Silver N6000 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. There’s 128GB storage on board, which can be expanded using a microSD card. Making sure everything ticks is a 32.2Wh battery that charges using a Type-C port. A fingerprint sensor is also built into the power button.
To make it more office-friendly, HP has introduced a keyboard which works with the tab in portrait and landscape modes. There’s also a HP Tilt Pen that makes it easy to sketch, doodle, and pen your thoughts.
The HP 11in tablet costs $499 (approx ₹37,400), and $599 (approx ₹44,900) with the keyboard.
