Instagram has upped the ante on your storytelling game – carousels now let you pack in up to 20 photos or videos, doubling the old limit. It looks like a game-changer for those end-of-summer ‘photo dumps’ where you’ve got a ton of memories to show off!
Previously, Instagram limited users to 10 photos or videos in one carousel post, often leading to chopped-up stories spread across several posts. However, with the new expanded capacity, Instagram is now making it possible to share longer, more cohesive stories in a single, uninterrupted post. Alongside the boosted carousel capacity, Instagram has rolled out even more features. Meta AI is now available in more countries, plus, users can tweak AI-generated content across all Meta apps. Instagram also recently added the option to react to posts and reels with temporary notes and mix up to 20 audio tracks into a single reel.
