iQOO 9 series launched in India with BMW M-inspired design and performance

A flagship at not-so flagship price

Performance-centric smartphones don’t always have to look like they have been plucked out of an alien spaceship. It’s a design philosophy followed by the folks at iQOO, and it’s no different on the latest iQOO 9 series.
iQOO’s latest series includes the iQOO 9 Pro, iQOO 9, and the iQOO 9 SE. They are all focused on offering flagship-grade performance at a not-so-flagship-level price. The brand has also tied-up with BMW M Motorsport for a special colourway that includes the famous racing stripes on the back.
The Pro variant is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor accompanied by up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also comes with a 6.78in 1440p OLED display, and a sophisticated camera system that includes a 50MP main sensor with gimbal-style stabilisation, 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 16MP portrait sensor. The device is backed by a 4,700mAh battery with up to 120W fast charging support.
The non-Pro variants come with Snapdragon 888 Plus processor, 6.56in 1080p OLED display, and a camera setup that includes a 48MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 13MP portrait camera. The device is backed by a 4,350mAh battery with up to 120W fast charging support. All phones run on Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12.
Prices for the iQOO 9 Pro start from ₹64,990 and go up to ₹69,990. The iQOO 9 is priced between ₹42,990 and ₹46,990. Lastly, the iQOO 9 SE is priced between ₹33,990 and ₹37,990.
