Jabra Engage 50 II and Engage 40 are the newest members in their headset lineup

Crystal clear conversations

With Navratri in full swing, there are two kinds of people. Those who are constantly tapping their foot and bobbing to the beats of the endless commotion from the festivities and those who will crib and complain as they search for their headphones while trying to hop onto business calls. If you happen to belong to the latter, Jabra’s latest additions– Engage 40 and Engage 50 II are just what you need in your life.

The headsets are a huge step toward call clarity and keep you well aware of your ever-ringing phones thanks to the SmartRinger feature. When it comes to the specifics, the two models differ slightly.

The Jabra Engage 50 II uses advanced algorithms to create a beamforming pickup of users’ voices and analyses the noises in the background, perfect for when you need to take a business call during the daily tamasha. The 3-microphone system has the ability to remove up to 36 decibels of noise, enabling a much clearer call experience and spot-on call transcriptions. The SmartRinger feature alerts you of incoming calls even when you are not wearing the headset.

The Jabra Engage 40 on the other hand, prioritizes comfort for those who never seem to take their headsets off. The ultra-lightweight design in addition to the angle ear cushions and maze-shaped pattern inside each ear cup works to relieve pressure in your ear canals. It comes with built-in hearing protection, two high-quality microphones, noise-isolating earcups and advanced speaker technology.

Both devices have an inline control unit to handle calls at lightning speed with programmable buttons. Jabra’s free Engage+ desktop app provides real-time call insights to instantly improve conversation quality by assessing whether the background noise, microphone position and voice quality are good prior to a call. During the call, it helps correct any issues, provides conversation guidance and wraps up every session with a post-call report. The app is easy to use too. The headsets will be available later this month along with information on pricing, so stay tuned.
