Reliance Jio has quietly added a new product to its extensive portfolio. This new product in question is a wireless gaming controller, which features a classic lightweight design with a familiar button layout.
The Jio wireless gaming controller is quite compact with dimensions of 153x58x110mm, and weighing in at around 200 grams. The design is standard with a colour-combo that reminds you of the Xbox, and a layout that will be familiar for anyone who’s used a gaming controller before.
The controller features a 20-button layout, which includes two pressure-point triggers, an eight-direction arrow button, and two joysticks. To really give you the gaming feel, the controller is equipped with two vibration feedback motors and supports haptic control.
Jio says that the wireless gaming controller is compatible with a wide range of Bluetooth-enabled Android devices. These also include Android tablets, Android TVs, and the Jio set-top-box. It uses Bluetooth v4.1 to connect with the devices offering a low latency connection and a wireless range of up to 10m.
The controller is fitted with a rechargeable Li-ion battery that is said to offer up to eight hours of backup on a single charge. When it’s time to juice up, you can connect a charger via the micro-USB port.
The Jio wireless gaming controller is available in a matte black finish, and is currently on sale via the company’s website for ₹3,499.
