Amazon's all-new Kindle Colorsoft is its first-ever colour e-reader! Now, book covers, photos, and images will pop with vibrant colours. Even better, you can add colour-coded highlights—yellow, orange, blue, or pink—so your notes look just as bright as your imagination. And, when you need to find the golden nuggets of wisdom you’ve marked; you can search for your highlights by colour!
The 7-inch Kindle Colorsoft display, as per Amazon, has custom coatings between the display layers to boost colour vibrancy, while a light guide with micro-deflectors reduces stray light for a clearer view. Amazon says the display is built on an oxide backplane for sharper contrast, faster page turns, and better image quality. You can choose between standard or vibrant colour styles and zoom in on images (without pixelation).
The Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition also kicks it up a notch with a waterproof design, USB-C and wireless charging, up to eight weeks of battery life, and an auto-adjusting front light. It’s available for pre-order at $279 (around ₹23,500 ) and starts shipping on October 30.
