In India, guests are considered gods, which is probably why Lexus opened up a one-of-its-kind experience centre to woo its guests. Termed Virtual Dome, the guest experience centre looks like a serene dome for all things tranquil.
The spherical space offers a relaxing & immersive experience for its guests in the virtual sphere. The design of the virtual GEC is symbolic of Buddhist architecture, the entrance of the showroom takes the guests through a Tori gate, a traditional Japanese element frequently seen at temple entrances across Japan.
The dome has a holistic structure inspired by the Lexus spindle design pattern, with an illustration around heaven and earth coming together. Then there is a display in the backdrop that shows the history of Lexus, its legacy and its culture. There is also a zen garden surrounded by water.
Wouldn’t it be better if this was actually a place you could visit and not see it on a computer screen? Regardless, for the connoisseurs of luxury coupes, the virtual guest experience centre also houses a range of models, including Lexus NX, ES, LC and LS. The guests will be offered a 3D-based experience including an in-depth understanding of each model, its interior, exterior and functionality. In addition to this, the guests can enquire and place requests for a test drive and eventually book a Lexus car through online mode. The virtual guest experience centre will be hosted on the Lexus India website.
