LG plans to go transparent with new ‘OLED Shelf’ displays

The LG OLED Shelf is the latest concept from the brand and it involves sticking two transparent OLED displays over each other. LG claims it seamlessly blends into any living room or commercial space and looks elegant, not to mention - super-cool!

LG is also set to unravel the ‘Shopping Managing Showcase’ which is a transparent OLED that’s fitted into a wooden frame. Obvious use case scenarios are luxurious department stores which will benefit from the stunning visuals that the OLED is capable of. The brand also confirmed the unraveling of the ‘Show Window’ which is basically four 55in transparent OLEDs stuck together, taking window advertising to a whole new level of awesome.

There’s also a ‘Smart Window’ for offices which is set to transform your conference room windows into transparent OLED goodness. Yes, your sci-fi dreams will come true as your video conferences, meetings and presentations will be presented on a simple window! We can’t wait for what else CES 2022 is going to unearth.
