LG Posé OLED TV is a high-end TV in the guise of artwork

Striking a Posé

LG is stepping away from the standard (read: boring) rectangular television designs with its latest ‘lifestyle’ TV. The new LG Posé flaunts a design that looks like an art canvas on an easel, and it demands attention.

If you are a social animal who loves entertaining, this lifestyle TV might just be a great conversation starter as your new centerpiece. The leg stands are reminiscent of Samsung’s The Serif TV, and also work as a hidden cable management system, to avoid the usual cable-related trips and falls.

It is covered in Kvadrat fabric, and accompanied by a unique pouch-like shelf on the back to store magazines, albums, and inevitably…dust. With a soothing, beige colour complimentary to its attention-seeking design, the Posé can be switched to Gallery mode when not in use to display photos or artwork of your choice.

Although it is called the Posé, it ain't posing when it comes to its abilities as a TV. It features LG’s 4K OLED Evo panel, is powered by the Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor, and comes with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and HDMI 2.1.

The Posé will be available in 42-, 48- and 55in size options. Prices have not been announced yet, but you don’t have to be a tech wizard to know it will be pricey.
