LG’s first-ever gaming laptop is mighty thin yet powerful

It’s all about the size

Although LG is not a newcomer to the laptop segment, the UltraGear series has always been about gaming monitors. This is the first time the Korean giant has taken a Gram for gaming…

Taking cues from the LG Gram series, the 17G90Q is built to be thin and sleek. But even though it’s not under a kilogram, you do get some serious gaming power squeezed just under 2.7kgs. It got Intel’s 11th Gen Tiger Lake H processors along with Nvidia’s RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU. The 17in display boasts of a 1ms response time and it has the usual gaming faff with a customisable RGB keyboard, LG’s UltraGear Studio to track performance (and tweak it too) and even Intel Killer Wireless for stable wireless connections.

It will be available only in the US and South Korea starting from early 2022.
