Logitech G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed and G502 X Plus launched in India

Leave lags in the past.

The iconic G502 series is one of the most successful mice in Logitech history and Logitech unveiled the newer, updated version of the series internationally. Surprisingly, the Indian launch came sooner than we expected and Logitech has unveiled the G502 X, G502 X Lightspeed and G502 X Plus priced at  ₹7995, ₹13,995 and ₹15,495 respectively. These three new mice combine the urgency of optical switches with the tactile feel of mechanical switches! That just might be the newest best sweet spot.

Logitech hasn’t fiddled with the G502 design much. It’s the same, massive palm-grip mouse we loved but the new Lightforce hybrid optical-mechanical switches are something that you should look out for. These new switches provide greater speed and reliability and lower latency, in addition to more precise actuation with a crisp tactile mechanical click thanks to the use of galvanic contact parts.

The wireless versions (the G502 X Lightspeed and G502 Plus) come with a USB Type-C charger as well as a thin-wall exoskeleton for weight reduction and maximum rigidity.  The G502 X series is additionally equipped with the Hero 25K high-precision gaming sensor which offers a 1-1 ratio accuracy at sub-micron levels and zero smoothing, filtering or acceleration.

Weighing in at just 89 grams, the G502 X offers five onboard memory profiles and 13 programmable controls and PTFE feet. The G502 X Lightspeed, on the other hand, comes with all the same features in addition to a slightly higher weight and up to 140-hour battery life in constant motion. Thanks to the Lightspeed wireless protocol update, this new model can be up to 68% faster than the previous generation in certain modes.

The G502 Plus is equipped with an additional LightSync RGB feature which consists of flowing 8-LED lighting which is customizable and adapts to you as you play. The mouse can give you up to 120 hours of battery life (37 hours with RGB).

The series sports a redesigned, reversible and removable DPI-shift button to provide comfort to a variety of hand sizes and grip styles. You also get a redesigned scroll wheel, modified to provide higher stability and reduced weight. That said, the new model retains the G502’s iconic dual hyper-fast infinite scroll and precise ratchet modes.

You can connect two Lightspeed devices to one receiver using the Device Pairing Tool in G HUB and can even operate the G502 X with the same receiver as their Logitech G915, G915 TKL, or G715 gaming keyboards. The lineup comes with a wireless charging mat and all three mice are available in black and white colour variants.
