Want a timepiece that shows more than just the time and also matches your Jimmy Choos? Louis Vuitton’s newest smartwatch doesn’t only scream fashion-forward, but also tells the world that you’ve got money to burn. Here’s what you need to know about the new Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Light Up connected watch.
The 42mm smartwatch with a stainless steel body features a 1.2in AMOLED touchscreen with 390x390 pixels resolution, and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon Wear 4100 under the hood. The interesting thing to note is how LV has dropped Google’s WearOS, and instead is using a custom-built OS that is compatible with Android, iOS, and Harmony OS smartphones.
The timepiece does all the basic smart stuff like mirror your phone’s notifications, let’s you set alarms, and healthy things like count steps, calories burnt, and your heart-rate. A built-in My Travel section keeps track of your travel itinerary, weather, air quality, and also offers curated city guides.
The companion phone app lets you choose from a host of custom-built watchfaces. You can also add your own initials onto a watchface in the colour and font of your choice.
Needless to say, this uber-luxe watch won’t come cheap. Prices for the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon Light Up starts from $3,300 (approx ₹2,45,100), and go up to $3,600 (approx ₹2,67,400).
