The highly-anticipated electric SUVs from Mahindra - the XEV 9e and BE 6 - are open for bookings from today (February 14), with prices starting at Rs. 18.90 lakh for the BE 6 and Rs. 21.90 lakh for the XEV 9e (ex-showroom). Deliveries for customrs are expected to commence in mid-March 2025 for the top-end Pack Three variants of both the XEV 9e and BE 6, which features the larger 79kWh battery pack for higher driving range. We first test-drove both vehicles in November 2024, at the official launch of the new electric SUVs from the company.

Bookings for all variants commence on February 14, and interested buyers can visit Mahindra dealerships to book the new vehicles, as well as get test drives or information as part of the booking process. The base 'Pack One' variants of the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e are priced at Rs. 18.90 lakh and Rs. 21.90 lakh, respectively. Deliveries for this variant will start in August 2025.
The 'Pack One Above' variant is available for only the BE 6 and is priced at Rs. 20.50 lakh, with deliveries commencing in August 2025. Pack Two for the BE 6 and XEV 9e is priced at Rs. 21.90 lakh and Rs. 24.90 lakh respectively, with deliveries starting in July 2025. Pack Three Select is priced at Rs. 24.50 lakh and Rs. 27.90 lakh for the BE 6 and XEV 9e respectively, with deliveries starting in June 2025.

The Pack Three variants are priced at Rs. 26.90 lakh and Rs. 30.50 lakh for the BE 6 and XEV 9e respectively, with deliveries commencing in March 2025. These are the only versions of the new EVs to get the larger 79kWh battery packs; all the lower variants come with the 59kWh battery packs. Motor performance is the same regardless of the battery variant, so the larger battery pack only ensures longer range per charge on the new cars.
