Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest car to be launched in India, the AMG G 63 luxury performance SUV. Priced at Rs. 3.60 crore (ex-showroom) onwards in India, the Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 is German automaker's 13th launch in India in 2024, and the latest from the iconic G-Wagen stable to be made available here. Bookings for the new AMG G 63 are now open, with deliveries expected to start in Q3 2025, with Mercedes stating that there are over 120 orders across India for the SUV already.
The new Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63 gets a 4.0L bi-turbo V8 engine with mild hybrid technology, delivering 430kW of power and 850Nm of torque, with an addition 15kW boost. It gets the new MBUX NTG7 infotainment system and an intuitive user interface, along with augmented reality navigation. The car has a top speed of 240km/h, which is impressive for such a large vehicle.

As with other G-series SUVs from Mercedes-Benz, the AMG G 63 gets all-wheel drive and easy access to off-roading functions and features in the cockpit. The AMG model also gets 'Race Start', a launch control mode that enables the SUV to go 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds.
Buyers can also opt for extensive customisation, with 31 upholstery and 29 paint options available for the Mercedes-Benz AMG G 63. On the tech and safety front, there is ADAS, a 360-degree camera system, and more.
