MG ZS EV facelift launched with cosmetic and feature upgrades

Prices start from ₹21.99 lakh

MG has given its ZS EV a nip here and a tuck there, but maintains the essence of the first-gen electric SUV. The facelift brings the ZS EV closer than ever to the petrol-powered Astor both in terms of looks and features.
The MG ZS EV now gets a blanked-off grille flanked by reprofiled headlamps, a set of redesigned LED tail lights, and new 17in alloy wheels. It is now powered by a 50.3kWh electric motor putting out 174hp and 353Nm of torque. This combo helps it go from 0-100kph in 8.5 seconds, and MG claims the facelifted EV will go up to 461km on a single charge.
Speaking of features, there’s now a 10.1in infotainment system inside with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a 7in digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, 360-degrees camera, and wireless charging. It also borrows driver assistance features from the Astor like blind-spot detection, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and more.
Prices for the facelift MG ZS EV start from ₹21.99 lakh for the Excite variant, and go up to ₹25.88 lakh for the top-end Exclusive variant. Both prices are ex-showroom India. Colour options include Ferris White, Currant Red, Ashen Silver, and Sable Black.
