Microsoft has just launched its new Surface Laptop Go 2 in India, a month after its global debut. The new model features a full-size keyboard and a large, precision trackpad. Designed for hybrid use, the Surface Laptop Go 2 weighs in at just 1.12 kg, with a battery life of a whole day on a single charge and support for fast charging.
Sporting a 12.4in PixelSense touchscreen display with 1536 x 1024 pixels resolution, the screen brings 330nits peak brightness and a 3:2 aspect ratio. To support this hybrid lifestyle, the laptop also packs in an upgraded 720p HD camera alongside two Studio Mics for better clarity for audio and video calls when in public.
Powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-processor, the chipset is paired with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The RAM comes in either 4GB or 8GB format, and storage options include 128GB or 256GB SSD storage.
The Surface Laptop Go 2 runs Windows 11 Home OS out-of-the-box. The display is complemented with Omnisonic speakers and Dolby Audio Premium. The laptop also packs in Firmware TPM 2.0, and One-Touch sign-in with a fingerprint reader on the power button.
When it comes to connectivity, the options include the usual Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, USB-C, USB-A, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single Surface Connect port. Featuring a premium aluminium exterior and metal finish, the laptop will be available at a starting price of ₹79,090.
