Like the new Surface Pro, the Surface Laptop 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X-series chips and includes a 45 TOPS NPU for efficient on-device AI processing. Microsoft claims that the Surface Laptop 7 offers the largest battery capacity in its history, providing up to 22 hours of use on the 15-inch model and up to 20 hours on the 13.8-inch model.

The new Surface Laptop 7 is equipped with a Full HD Surface Studio Camera that supports AI-powered Windows Studio Effects, including Automatic Framing, Portrait Blur, Creative Filters, and Voice Focus. For audio, it features Omnisonic Speakers with Dolby Atmos surround sound.

It offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and storage options of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB with Gen 4 SSD. Connectivity options include two USB-C (USB4) ports, a DisplayPort 2.1, a USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Surface Connect port, and a MicroSDXC card reader (available only on the 15-inch model).
